Elin Nordegren was in focus ever after she started dating Tiger.

Tiger Woods - one of the richest and most successful sports stars on the planet - fame helped Elin Norgren to appear sports media headlines.

Before this Elin Nordegren was known only in Scandinavia as a sports and swimsuit model, though she never reached household name status.

The news of Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren relationship began appearing in media during the Masters golf tournament in April 2002. This happened shortly after the Swedish press leaked news of their romance.

Elin Nordegren no longer needs the modeling, which is a shame for the zillions of swimsuit layout enthusiasts world over, and she also gave up her nanny job with intentions of raising future little Tigers who will inherit the genes of a brilliant millioner sportsman and a blonde bombshell.

In 2001 British Open at Royal Lytham in England, Elin Nordegren was accompanying Parnevik family.

Elin Nordegren was introduced to Tiger Woods by her employer Parnevik, and the chemistry did the rest between them as the pair soon started dating on a regular basis.

While Elin Nordegren and Tiger Woods tried to hide their relationship from the prying eyes of the press and paparazzi the cat was let out of the bag when, a couple of days before the 2002 Players Championship in March of that year, the Swedish media announced to the world at large that Elin Nordegren and the champion golfer Tiger Woods were indeed an item.

In November 2003, as Tiger Woods attended the President’s Cup tournament near the South African coastal city of Port Elizabeth, accompanied by Elin Nordegren, the two became officially engaged after Woods popped the question at the luxury Shamwari game reserve.

Elin Nordegren went to Berlin University to study psychology.

Apart from modeling, Elin Nordegren and her twin sister Josefin used to work as au pairs - aka nannis.

Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevik hired Elin Nordegren to mind his four children. During that period Elin Nordegren used to accompany Jesper’s family to international tournaments.
